Terrazzo Installation Reaches Halfway Mark

Terrazzo installation in the New Terminal at Kansas City International Airport is nearing 50 percent completion. Much of the flooring will be off white, with flecks of color picking up the hemlock wood ceilings and gray Italian porcelain wall tiles, while other areas are slate gray. As a nod to the three old terminals, mosaic medallions from the former Terminal A were saw cut from the old terminal floors and are being reinstalled by each gate in the New Terminal. Build KCI team members from Grazzini Brothers & Company are performing the work. Visit our Image Gallery to view more photos.
