Progress Continues on Connector – Video
Progress continues on the 630-foot connector that will allow passengers to travel between the A and B concourses in the New Terminal at Kansas City International Airport. The length of the connector will allow for dual taxi lanes on the airfield, meaning that aircraft arriving and departing from either concourse will be able to pass each other safely and with less congestion. There will be four moving walkways in the connector to carry passengers in both directions. Additionally, travelers will be able to view historical displays about the history of aviation in Kansas City and the history of the 11,000 acres where the Kansas City International Airport now sits.
