Terrazzo Installation Begins

Terrazzo installation work is underway across the Kansas City International Airport New Terminal with approximately 20 percent complete on the arrivals (lower) level and nearly 50 percent complete on the departures (upper) level. Prior to the demolition of Terminal A, crews removed 40 inlaid mosaic medallions that are now being placed at each gate in the New Terminal to serve as mnemonic art to help travelers remember their gate location.
