Baggage Handling System Installation is Underway

More than 22 percent of the conveying equipment for the Kansas City International Airport New Terminal Project’s Baggage Handling System (BHS) has been installed to date with additional work taking place on mechanical and electrical systems. When complete, the BHS will be comprised of 16,000 linear feet of conveying equipment and manage more than 2,600 outbound bags per hour. Installation of the BHS is being completed by Vanderlande.
