Glass Boarding Bridges – Interior View

The 39 glass-sided Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs) recently began to arrive for the Kansas City International Airport New Terminal. Used to board and deplane passengers on aircraft, the bridges are manufactured in the U.S. and utilized at airports worldwide. The bridges are fully climate-controlled and will eliminate the sometimes-claustrophobic experience of the boarding process. Earlier, we shared photos and video of the arrival and installation of the first bridges. Now see a sneak peek of the interiors showing just how different the flying experience will be.
