Deluge System Testing Underway
The Build KCI team recently completed testing of the deluge system, a portion of the Kansas City International Airport New Terminal’s overall fire suppression system. The deluge system acts as a protective shield in the unlikely event of a fire and is located everywhere there are windows within 100 feet of a fueling pit. There are a total of six deluge system locations, each of which is capable of emitting more than 1,000 gallons per minute. Watch the video.
